About us

Brikido is about giving a second life to the bricks you already have — with a bit of creative problem-solving.

Brikido started with a simple observation: everyone loves a new LEGO® set — not just kids. And if that’s true, it’s a shame for bricks to end up back in the box for good once a single model is built. We decided to change that.

How it started

The idea for Brikido was born during lockdown. Magda — our founder — noticed that the real joy comes from building something new. From there it was a short step to the question: why buy another set, when the bricks you already have at home can become something completely different?

The first figures built from existing bricks were a hit. But bringing the idea to life needed someone on the technology side — that’s how Maciek joined the project. Some time later, Marcin came on board.

What we believe in

What fascinates us most is how bricks spark creativity — especially when you have to work around limits. Not enough bricks? Missing that one specific piece? That’s not a problem — it’s where the fun begins. What can you swap in? Where can you simplify? How do you finish the build despite the gaps?

When we were kids, we had far fewer bricks than children do today — and yet (or perhaps because of it) we built more creative things. Kids today more often face an overload of choice. Brikido is our way back to what’s best about bricks: creating with what you already have.

What makes Brikido different

We don’t know anyone who does it the way we do. We start from a visualization of an object or figure — and turn it into a LEGO® build matched to what you actually own. It’s the opposite of a ready-made set: you don’t get one rigid instruction for one box, but a design fitted to your collection. And if a brick is missing, we’ll show you what to use instead.

We’re just getting started

Brikido is at the MVP stage — the first working version of the project. We ask our early customers for a little patience, and we promise this is only the beginning. We have plenty of ideas to improve and expand what Brikido offers. Come and build with us.
